To become licensed to practise engineering or geoscience in New Brunswick, an individual or a company must submit the appropriate application through this portal.
To start a NEW application:
- Select Start Application at the bottom of this page.
To continue or update an EXISTING application:
- Select My Account from the menu above, sign in, and open your existing application.
- Do not select Start Application if you already have an application in progress. Selecting it will create a new application instead of opening your existing one. This may result in a duplicate application and delay processing.

Before starting an application, review the options below and select the one that best matches your circumstances. Selecting the wrong application type may delay the processing of your application.
- Canadian Labour Mobility
- Assessment of Qualifications / MIT
- First Time Professional Registration or Licensure (Your qualifications have been assessed, you have passed the NPPE and completed the CBA)
- Certificate of Authorization (Firms and Companies)
Existing applicants and account access
If you applied to APEGNB before this application portal was introduced, your username is normally your email address or member number, such as A1234 or J1234. Do not create a new account if you have previously applied to APEGNB. Creating another account may result in duplicate records and delay the processing of your application.
